Ronald J. Mazzocco

March 28, 1957 to July 23, 2020

Ronald J. Mazzocco, 63, of Clark, PA, passed away the morning of July 23, 2020 at UPMC Jameson. Born on March 28, 1957 in New Castle, he was the son of James Mazzocco who survives. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline Frank Mazzocco. On August 6, 1988 Ron married his beloved wife, the former Teresa Savocchia. She survives at home.

Ron had worked at George Junior as a counselor/parent.  He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Site. Ron was very active in coaching football for the children at many of the local schools. He enjoyed cooking and baking. He was an avid muscle car enthusiast and loved attending car shows. Ron was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he had earned the highest rank as a 4th Degree Knight. A loving husband, father and grandfather, his greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.

In addition to his father and wife, Ron is survived by his children, Angela DeSalvo (Steve), Nichole Mazzocco, Olivia Mazzocco and three grandchildren, Brianna, Jordyn, and Niko.

Due to the current health situation in our community, a Private Visitation and Blessing Service will be held for the family at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St.   Deacon John Carran of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. Burial will be in St. Lucy Cemetery.

Lord God, you are attentive to the voice of our pleading. Give Ronald eternal rest, O Lord, and may your light shine on him forever. Let us find in your Son comfort in our sadness, certainty in our doubt, and courage to live through this hour. Make our faith strong through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
