Richard J. Conti

May 30, 1973 to June 17, 2020

Richard J. Conti, 47, formerly of Neshannock Township passed away on June 17, 2020 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital in Greenburg, Pa. Richard was born on May 30, 1973 in New Castle. His mother, Veronica Rosati Conti survives in New Castle.

Richard worked as a sheet metal fabricator for Craft Manufacturing in Latrobe, Pa. He was a former member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus site. Richard was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed watching all the Pittsburgh teams. A loving son, father and brother Richard enjoyed time with family, but his greatest joy was his daughter, Isabella, who he loved more than anything.

In addition to his mother, Veronica, and his daughter, Isabella, Richard is survived by his two sisters, Tricia Seamans (Matt) of New Castle, Tina Davis (Ricky) of Mableton, Georgia, his nieces, Rachel Seamans, Rebekah Seamans and Mara Davis and his nephew, John Ross Davis. He will also be missed by dog, Nico.

Richard was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Claire and John Rosati.

A private Mass of Christian Burial for his family will be held at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus site. Father Michael Ackerman will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St.

Lord God, you are attentive to the voice of our pleading. Give Richard eternal rest, O Lord, and may your light shine on him forever. Let us find in your Son comfort in our sadness, certainty in our doubt, and courage to live through this hour. Make our faith strong through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
