Nancy M. Clause (Micco)

August 5, 1930 to February 5, 2020

Nancy M. Clause, 89, of Union Township passed away the evening of February 5, 2020 at Quality Life Services of New Castle. Born on August 5, 1930 in New Castle she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Concetta Conti Micco. On August 2, 1950 Nancy married her beloved husband, Louis Clause, Sr. He survives at home.

Nancy was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Site. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking and taking care of her family. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother her greatest joy was the time she spent with all of her family.

In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by her two sons, Louis Clause, Jr. and his wife Janet, Mark Clause and his wife, Becky, all of New Castle, her son-in-law, Bill Lage of Butler, her brother, Patsy Micco of New Castle, two sisters, Madeline Passerrello and Delores Montswil both of New Castle, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Lage, her brothers, Carmen, Anthony, James, Joseph, Alex, Domenick and Tony Micco, and her sister, Carmella Pallerino.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 7, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Deacon S. Daniel Kielar of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. Entombment will be in Parkside Mausoleum.
