Marie D. Rozzi

December 21, 1931 to October 25, 2019

Marie D. Rozzi, 87, of New Castle passed away the morning of October 25, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born in New Castle on December 21, 1931, Marie was the daughter of the late Angelo and Lena Maiella Stella. Preceding her in death on February 25, 1989 is her husband, Dr. James Rozzi, Jr. whom she married on November 24, 1949.

Marie was a member of the Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus site. Marie had worked as a unit secretary and clerk for St. Francis Hospital. She enjoyed taking care of her home and yard.

Marie is survived by her son, Randy Rozzi and his wife Mary of Punta Gorda, FL, sisters, Angeline Armando of New Castle, LouAnn Parka of Commerce Township, MI, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Marie is preceded in death by her son, Brian J. Rozzi and brothers, Joseph Stella and Donald Stella.

Visitation is Wednesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St., followed by a Blessing Service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home conducted by Deacon John Carran.

Entombment will take place at Resurrection Mausoleum.
