Janet E Shellogg

July 27, 1937 to February 28, 2020

Janet E. Shellogg, 82, of Canal Fulton, Ohio, passed away the evening of February 28, 2020 at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio. Janet was born July 27, 1937 in Wampum. She was the daughter of the late John C. and Margaret (Krosvic) Karner. Janet was married to the late Robert G. Shellogg. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2011. They were married for 47 years.

Mrs. Shellogg was Roman Catholic. Janet was a graduate of Wampum High School class of 1955 and  enjoyed crafting, quilting and spending time at the beach.

Janet is survived by two sisters, Carol (Darrell) Dess and Margaret Karner, both of New Castle; and several loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband Robert, Janet was preceded in death by her sister, Marlene Novalesi, and niece Heidi Jo Dess.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc. 1142 S. Mill Street. A procession will leave the funeral home Wednesday, morning at 9:30 a.m. for Holy Spirit Parish, Mary, Mother of Hope Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. The Rev. Anthony Sciarappa, Parochial Vicar of Holy Spirit Parish, will officiate. Rite of Committal and Burial will be in SS Philip and James Cemetery.
