Ann Elizabeth Tonsetic, age 90, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away the morning of January 8, 2020 at Kennestone Hospital, Marietta, GA. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Joseph and Caroline Carapellotti and was raised in West Pittsburg, PA by the late Thomas and Mary (Cappatt) Carapellotti.
Ann was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Parish, now Holy Spirit Parish, in New Castle, PA. Ann was energetic and young at heart. She retired from New Castle Refractories in 2000, where she was an administrative assistant to the President and Vice President. She was always well put together, organized and kept an immaculate home. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, aunt and friend and cherished the times she spent with her family.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Tonsetic; two sisters, Columbia Eversole and Mary Machise; and one brother John Carapellotti. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Ryan and her husband, Mark, of Kennesaw, GA and several nieces and nephews.
The family of Ann Tonsetic received friends for a visitation on Friday, January 10, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, Kennesaw, GA. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, January 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Kennesaw, GA.
A Blessing Service by Deacon John Carran of Holy Spirit Parish was held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 11:00 am at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill Street, New Castle, PA. Ann will be entombed at Parkside Cemetery and Mausoleum.
